Taking care of the elderly parents<\/h3>In western countries is normally expected to be done by the state, people are far too busy with there own lives and slow elderly parents with health problems cannot keep up with the fast pace of life are put into care homes or have care visitors help to take in their own homes if they are more able, and maybe they are visited only on special occasions such as christmas.<\/p>
In eastern countries it has nearly always seen as unacceptable for someone else to take care of the elderly parents as they are classed as the head of the family to be respected as such in their own home. The children take care with day to day tasks of feeding, bathing and including the parents as part of the family, not as a burden. You nearly always see families eating together and chatting as part if their everyday life.<\/p>

Your parents are living longer<\/h3>As the population is growing older with the help of modern medicines and more understanding of how to keep people alive, the pressure on the children to take care of their parents is increasing where upon they are becoming parents, grandparents or even great grandparents before their parents die.
