"i0sdw32nznncefzuuqehrnp3mhqaiin2rsxqwmglt5oalc2o.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&h=auto"Written poetry

has been around as long as people have been able to write. If I think about poetry I think about a quill, inkpot and blotting paper in Shakesperian times and something romantic to a potential suitor.

"188uaq4v9zdxtkxmw6mpyr6cgqlb8vpjtzaxkfy5gfjt3cbx.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&h=auto"I like to write poetry and had a time a few years back where I wrote about 24 poems about whatever came into my head.

My poem about poetry

Yes you read that right, I wrote a poem about writing poetry so if you are all sitting comfortably I will begin…

Poetry comes from the heart

I think for sure that’s where it starts

All your experiences and emotions to

That are buried deep down inside of you

Then one day with pen between fingers

Over the page in your hand it lingers

Then the words begin to flow

As your poem starts to grow

Word after word, line after line

You often forget to watch the time

Just writing down your deepest thoughts

Now within this poem they are caught

But now we must stop, don’t want it too long

It might start to resemble a song

Thanks for reading, and if you feel it inside

Then start writing a poem and let your pen glide

Love it or hate it

Poetry has been around for thousands of years and can be written about anything you want. If you can think it and feel strongly enough about it then with a pen in your hand put your thoughts on a page.

Poetry. Your heart on page"vjloxvm9xkxbhtlsdaqexixdirvwtjcjz6rrid5w6kdvj1zy.jpeg.jpeg?w=1140&v=2"

Poetry is putting your heart on a page in amusing, thoughtful and sensitive way to engage the reader or listener to share your emotion and feeling.
